Insurance & coverage.
Medicare and most major insurance plans accepted. Vein and vascular care is medical — covered by most plans when it’s causing symptoms.
Coverage for medical vascular care
Varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, peripheral arterial disease, and dialysis access are all medical conditions — covered by Medicare and the vast majority of major insurance plans when they cause symptoms. Coverage for preventive screening, diagnostic ultrasound, and minimally invasive procedures is typically straightforward.
We'll handle pre-authorization and benefits verification for you before your visit, so you know what to expect. If your plan requires a referral, our team can coordinate directly with your primary care physician.

Major insurers we work with
Below is a non-exhaustive list of the major insurers we accept. Plan benefits and network status can change — please call our office to confirm coverage for your specific plan before your first visit.
Why varicose vein care is usually covered
Varicose vein treatment is often mistakenly thought of as cosmetic. In almost every patient who has aching, heaviness, swelling, skin changes, or visibly enlarged veins, the procedure qualifies as medical — and Medicare and most insurers cover it. A duplex ultrasound at your consultation documents the underlying venous reflux that makes treatment medically necessary.
For dialysis access procedures, coverage is built into the standard nephrology benefits structure. We work directly with dialysis centers and primary nephrologists to make sure referrals and authorizations move quickly.
